Grassy Grass · Global Forest Coalition in TZ

The Global Forest Coalition support and coordinate NGO's and campaigns worldwide. In Tanzania of their many efforts to establish sustainable conservation plansforest policy and the rights of Indigenous people thy place focus on the following

  • Supporting Forest Conservation communities in Siha and Moshi Rural Districts

  • Aid in overcoming challenges - like water scarcity and biodiversity loss

  • Actively protected their natural resources

  • Engage with local authorities for enforcement. 

  • Utilizing traditional practices with tree nurseries

Butterfly · A Rocha Uganda Conservation and Hope

An international organization with offices in different nations across the world, we chose to support A Rocha in Uganda, with aims to provide and engage in community-based education, environmental education and socio-environmental research

Their current projects and initiatives include

Pomegranate & Citrus · Goedgedacht Trust: Path Onto Prosperity (POP) Programme in SA

Established in 1993, Goedgedatch Trust sought to transform disadvantaged rural communities in the West Coast region of the Western Cape in South Africa. The trust’s Path Onto Prosperity (POP) program aims to transform rural communities by presenting children and young adults with opportunities to become healthy, self-confident, educated, and skillful members of their communities. Some projects within the POP program include:

  • Early Childhood Development Unit

  • After school educational project

  • Weekly Youth Development Workshops 

  • Sport and Exercise

This is an Africa-based global conservation organization protecting wildlife and their habitats as essential parts of a modern and prosperous Africa. Cranes · Lake Ol'Bolossat Community Conservation Group LOCCOG in KE

LOCCOG is a local grassroots organization seeking to save Lake Ol'Bolossat with reforestation, community advocacy for action to save water catchment via bamboo planting, addressing and educating locals on pollution, engaging with local and national leaders on the matter, community education and training locals and farmers on tree nursery management and crane conservation.
