Established in 1993, Goedgedatch Trust sought to transform disadvantaged rural communities in the West Coast region of the Western Cape in South Africa. The trust’s Path Onto Prosperity (POP) program aims to transform rural communities by presenting children and young adults with opportunities to become healthy, self-confident, educated, and skillful members of their communities. Some projects within the POP program include:

Cranes · Lake Ol'Bolossat Community Conservation Group LOCCOG in KE
LOCCOG is a local grassroots organization seeking to save Lake Ol'Bolossat with reforestation, community advocacy for action to save water catchment via bamboo planting, addressing and educating locals on pollution, engaging with local and national leaders on the matter, community education and training locals and farmers on tree nursery management and crane conservation.
